Heavenly Creatures

Even after all these years I am still amazed how great Heavenly Creatures! Add to that it was a true story makes it even more astonishing. Had it not been for LOTR I al convinces HC would have been considered Peter Jackson's masterpiece.

I used to ride in the same elevator as Harvey Weinstein. Everyone was afraid to speak to him. I wasn't. The first time I saw him I told him how much I loved Heavenly Creatures. I told him I was trying to find a CD of the soundtrack. We spoke about it for the duration of the ride and then he asked me to follow him. We entered the lobby of his office and he had framed posters of a lot of movies. He pointed to one of Heavenly Creatures and said, "It's yours." He then turned to the lady at the front desk and told her I could come and get it anytime. She nodded.

A few days later I went to pick it up and she handed me a copy of the soundtrack to the movies. I still have both of them to this day.
