Slipstream

After civilization collapses and a planet-wide river of wind — the Slipstream — scours the Earth, a bounty hunter steals a mysterious prisoner from two hard-edged law officers and races across the ruined landscape to collect the reward. Produced by Gary Kurtz and scored by Elmer Bernstein, the film boasts a remarkable cast: Bill Paxton as the opportunistic hunter Matt Owens, Mark Hamill (in a rare villain turn) as relentless officer Will Tasker, Bob Peck as the enigmatic Byron, plus Kitty Aldridge, Robbie Coltrane, and cameos from Ben Kingsley and F.
